1. General Terms of Admission
By purchasing a ticket or entering a Maxus Cinemas auditorium, you agree to comply with all cinema rules and regulations. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or request any individual to leave the premises without refund in the event of disruptive behavior, intoxication, or violation of safety standards.
2. Age Restrictions & CBFC Ratings
Films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) are categorized as follows:
- U: Unrestricted public exhibition suitable for all age groups.
- U/A: Parental guidance advised for children below 12 years of age.
- A: Strictly restricted to adults aged 18 years and older. Valid government photo ID with date of birth may be inspected at the usher gate.
3. Food & Beverage Policy
Outside food, beverages, chewing gum, and alcohol are strictly prohibited inside the premises. Concession items purchased within the cinema are allowed in all auditoriums.
4. Recording Devices & Piracy Laws
Under the Cinematograph Act, recording, photography, or live streaming of audio/video content inside the auditorium using smartphones, cameras, or recording equipment is a punishable criminal offense. Violators will be handed over to law enforcement authorities.
5. Schedule & Showtime Disclaimers
While we strive to ensure timely screenings, show schedules are subject to change or cancellation due to technical faults, power anomalies, or unavoidable circumstances. In such events, appropriate rescheduling or refunds will be offered in accordance with our Refund Policy.
